1. Who We Are
This policy explains what personal information is collected on RUREAL Platform, why, and what your rights are.

The Platform is intended for businesses. The personal information collected relates to the contact persons and users acting on behalf of the brand.
2. What We Collect

We do not collect precise device location, and we do not generate or store biometric identifiers.
3. Why We Use the Information
- To open and manage the account and provide the service.
- To bill, manage Credits and issue invoices.
- To provide support and answer inquiries.
- To secure the Platform and prevent misuse.
- To improve the Platform and train our systems, as detailed in the Terms of Use.
- To send service messages, such as billing updates and changes to the Platform.
- To send marketing updates, only if you agreed. You can unsubscribe in any message.
- To meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping.
4. Is Providing Information Mandatory
You have no legal obligation to provide us with information. Providing it depends on your will and consent. Without account and billing details we cannot open an account and provide the service.
5. The Images You Upload and the Outputs
The use of the content you upload and of the Outputs is governed by the Terms of Use (Sections 6, 9 and 10), including use for improvement and training, marketing use, and the option to opt out of them.
If a person appears in a photo you uploaded, you are responsible for having their consent. We use the photo to identify the garment, not to identify the person.

We do not sell personal information. We have set our model providers not to train on the content sent to them, to the extent the provider allows it.
If RUREAL's activity is transferred to a company or another entity, the information will be transferred to it and it will be bound by this policy.
7. International Transfers
Some of our providers operate in other countries, mainly the United States. By using the Platform you agree that the information may be transferred to them and processed there in order to provide the service.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in, security and saving preferences. We do not record your screen activity.
With your consent only, we also use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool of Meta Platforms, to learn which of our ads bring brands to the Platform. It records page visits and the completion of a sign-up, and Meta may use cookies to link these to an ad you saw. It is not loaded at all until you accept, and the Platform works the same if you decline. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page.
9. How Long We Keep Information

Backup copies are deleted in the regular backup cycle. Content that has already been used to train the systems cannot be separated from them afterwards.
10. Security
We take reasonable security measures, including encrypted communication, restricted access to information and encrypted password storage. No protection is absolute. In a serious security incident we will act as the law requires, including notifying the competent authority and those affected, where required.
11. Your Rights
- To review the information kept about you.
- To ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date, or to delete it.
- To ask us to delete the account and the content in it.
- To remove yourself from the mailing list.
Contact hello@therureal.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for an identifying detail to make sure the request comes from the account owner.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR, including data portability, objecting to processing and lodging a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.
You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
12. Minors
The Platform is intended for businesses and for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.
13. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy from time to time. We will give notice of a material change by email or on the Platform before it takes effect.
